When I was a kid, I loved Advent Calendars. I couldn't wait to get my hands on that calendar with its twenty-four numbered doors. Each day, beginning December 1st, I'd open the day's door with great anticipation and enjoy my treat.
Well, why should kids have all the fun? Don't readers deserve a holiday treat too?
Thanks to Katherina Gerlach and five other indie authors (including yours truly!), book lovers now get their own calendar! Six indie authors have contributed fairy-tale, myth, and legend stories, and each day in December you'll get to open a door on the calendar and read another portion of a story. You can find the calendar here.
As if that's not enough, everyone who signs up for the daily calendar alerts will receive an ebook bundle on December 25, containing all six stories. You can sign up for the alerts at the top of the calendar page.

Now, I can't give anything away about my story--that would be cheating, after all! I will say that it's a Cinderella-themed From the Ashes short story, and that you can read it without having read the book. If you have read the book, it'll provide you a little more insight into the characters.
